    self-mastery entails recognizing, understanding, and optimizing your physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual aspects. It begins with acknowledging the need for change, followed by self-reflection to identify limiting beliefs and behaviors. Understanding your motivations and embracing your authentic self enables you to release what no longer serves you and manifest your desired life. The First Step in Mastering Self is knowing something needs to change. Being aware and honest about your journey is one of the hardest parts of your growth cycle. As you bring in more awareness you can then become more emotionally intelligent. Observing what role you play in other’s lives and your own helps allow you to create healthy boundaries so that you can start feeling in control of the energy you are putting out and receiving. The Third Step in self-mastery is understanding your “what’s” and “why’s.” What has gotten you to this current state, and why do you navigate the way you do. Accepting and embodying your inner, truest self will help you forgive and let go of people, places, or things that no longer serve you. After shedding and letting go of the weight you’ve been carrying. New energy will surround you, allowing you to tap into your highest power, deepen your intuition, and manifest the life of your dreams.
  • What is Hypnotherapy?
    Hypno - Greek Word for Sleep. Therapy - Treatment intended to relieve or heal a physical or this case psychological dis-order. Combining the two together creates practice for treatment in relieving discomfort, or dis-orders by putting the conscious mind to “sleep”. Sleep and Hypnosis: Sleep is a state during which you are unconscious of what is going on. Hypnosis is a state during which you are consciously aware of what is happening around you. Another important difference is that during the sleep state we do not learn. The subconscious mind is considered to be the source or root of many of our behaviors, emotions, attitudes, and motivations. Hypnosis is believed to be a powerful tool for accessing the subconscious mind and creating dramatic improvements in our lives by reaching a higher state of behavioral and habitual change.

    Breathwork Is an ancient breathing technique originated and practiced in India for many centuries. The type of breathwork facilitated is a two stage pranayama yogic breath, similar to kundalini breath; quick and powerful. In this practice you will be guided to breathe through the mouth to encourage focus and awareness in the body. It is a conscious and systematic way of breath. Breathwork is a form of active meditation to help open, release, and clear any stagnant energy you may be feeling in the body. Breathing allows you to go into the depths of the feelings from the subconscious mind to bring awareness to the Mind-Body Connection by clearing the energy out of your subconscious, body, and energetic centers (chakras).

    "EnerKi" represents a fusion of "energy" and "Ki," encompassing the vital life force or energy found in various cultural and spiritual practices, such as Japanese (Ki), Chinese (Qi), or African (Muntu) traditions. This term emphasizes the dynamic synergy between different energetic elements within the body, aligning with practices that focus on balancing, flowing, and manipulating life force energy for overall well-being and healing.   • How does Breathwork help?
    The body stores our fears and unresolved emotions causing pain or dis-ease. Our fears block energy more than any other emotion, and is typically stored in our lower regions or energy centers. (The Root, Sacral, and Solar Plexus) The energy from the breathing process raises the vibration by stimulating the hypothalamus gland (Crown). The hypothalamus releases endorphins, that vibrate through the nervous system. The vibration hits blocks or clogs caused by fear or resistance that may be stopping the energetic flow. The breath forces and encourages that energy to flow. When energy moves it becomes electric and allows us to charge our batteries. The breath starts moving energy by oxygenating the blood and allowing emotions to move and flow freely.   • Getting started with Coaching
    To participate in these sessions, you'll need to schedule a pre-clarity call to assess your current situation and needs. I am currently offering 6-12 weeks. I recommend a duration of 12 weeks for optimal results. consecutive sessions are mandatory.
  • How can I help with Breathwork?
    As your breathwork facilitator I will act as a container, by holding and creating a safe space for you to breathe through your challenges and open your heart. Discover new ways to alchemize your energy, through the power of your own breath. You will be guided through a 75 minute session. (1 hour and 15 min) Either 1:1 support (Just Me and You) or 2:1 support (Just Me, You, and a Partner). The first 10-30 Minutes of our time together will be focused on getting clear on what needs healing and setting the intention of the session. I will demonstrate the breath and explain what you can or might experience during or after your active breath. You will then be guided to lie down and start your active breath for 25-30 minutes. The remaining 15 minutes will be focused on re-grounding and resting. Although I am open to creating a safe space for you to express your challenges, I am not claiming to be or act as your therapist. The Breathwork is the therapy, it does the work and acts as your medicine.

However, being in a trance state does not entail compliance with undesired actions; individuals maintain the autonomy to reject anything incongruent with their preferences.   • How can I help with Hypnotherapy?
    As your hypnotherapist I vow to do no harm, I will assess your needs and provide solutions to each obstacle, per session. During your private hypnotherapy session, we will first discuss what your desired outcome would be, as well as release any current issues or challenges. Next with your permission I would put you into hypnosis and repeat back the positive suggestions you’ve created into your subconscious mind. You will remain completely aware of everything that is going on. Your thoughts will be clearer and your ability to imagine and visualize is greatly enhanced. It is common for these hypnotic experiences to create sensations of deep relaxation, fluid warmth, or a pleasant tingling sensation throughout your physical body. Many describe the hypnotic state as a complete and total escape from all physical tension and emotional stress while remaining completely alert. We would meet via zoom for a 1-hour session.

    I utilize energy healing techniques refined through attunement to the Reiki energy by a Master Teacher, along with my naturally developed intuition. As your practitioner, I serve as a conduit for this universal life force energy, employing gentle touch or utilizing additional tools to engage the senses and facilitate its flow. The energy flows through me to you, removing and clearing any blocks to allow alignment of the physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual bodies. While I don't claim to be a healer or miracle worker, I can't cure any dis-ease. Instead, I trust in the innate wisdom of the energy to guide me in addressing specific areas of imbalance, clearing and unblocking unhealthy Ki (known as Byoki) present in the system. This energy is boundless and replenishing, benefiting both you, the recipient, and myself as the practitioner. It embodies the most profound vibration of life.

    The username "peacesofray" is a play on words that combines "peaces" and "ray." "Peaces" represents pieces of life or moments dedicated to peace and well-being, reflecting the focus of the project on showcasing peaceful moments. "Ray" is a nickname derived from my name Ravynn, symbolizing sunshine and shining light. Together, "peacesofray" represents the intention of shining light on peaceful moments and capturing the beauty and tranquility in everyday life.
  • What format do you use?
    I exclusively shoot on film, bringing both my Nikon EM SLR and an automatic point-and-shoot film camera as backup. I completely eschew digital photography. Film's inherent authenticity, with its grainy texture and possible impurities, appeals to me. I cherish the way it captures soft moments and encapsulates memories. These unique qualities perfectly align with my vision for this project, making film the ideal medium for expression.
